Reviews

My students benefited from being exposed to the French language, they were very engaged from start to finish and laughed at the jokes! They seemed very impressed by the set, lights, and the acting. Students were able to follow along and remain engaged, especially with all of the visuals. Thank you again for this performance, we very much appreciate it! Grade 1 Teacher
The themes were very appropriate, my students enjoyed it. It was well done, the acting was fantastic, costume changes were impressive and the set was beautiful. I liked that the play was open to interpretation but had a positive message for all. Merci de nous avoir visité! Grade 8 Teacher

Le´nai¨que la Magnifique cries every day in order to nourish the dragon-fruit that grow in the orchard, on the peninsula. One Sunday like any other Sunday, the young woman goes to the market on the mainland to sell her precious produce. There, she meets Bre´valaire Spectaculaire, a fine ?knitter of allegorical tuques?. In an instant, within both of them, the dizzy feeling of an inextricable love is born. A true masterpiece of inventiveness, the play is characterized by a language as vibrant as it is picturesque. Combining storytelling, improvisation, poetry and song, Avant l?Archipel (Countries Shaped Like Stars) transforms the audience members into active witnesses of the emotional upheaval linked to the first amorous stir. Set up for the performance requires four hours and strike requires two hours.

It's the story of a little girl, Crème-Glacée - who in fact cannot eat any because her name is already sweet enough! Mrs Mommy is a very busy woman who too often leaves her daughter to go save the environment, and never tells stories. Samantha the babysitter, a somewhat lawbreaking teenager who likes languorous music is regularly teleported to take care of Crème-Glacée. One night as Samantha is taking care of her, Crème-Glacée wins a bet, and gets the permission to eat ice cream... And she falls into the tub! There, she meets Old Mrs Ticked Off and discovers she knows Mrs Mommy quite well. Indeed, Old Mrs Ticked Off got into the habit of listening to all of Mrs Mommy's troubles. This encounter allows Crème-Glacée to see her mother in a completely different light.
