The Sm:)e Band is an all girl-band (16-18 years old) who attend Surrey Academy of Innovative Learning - online schooling. They have performed for thousands of children in schools from Kindergarten to Grade10, the Surrey International Children's Festival, Vancouver Whitecap games and other major events. They have appeared on CTV news hour and Mike McCardell's The Last Word. While performing music in schools their hope is to motivate other young people to believe in themselves and make the world a better place.
The girl band were amazing, they were engaging, lively and played age-appropriate songs! Sir Wilfred Grenfell Elementary
The girls were fun, they were great with the crowd. I would absolutely recommend Smile Band to other schools - they won over our oldest most cynical students - Webster's Corner elementary I thought they were energetic, exciting and awesome. They were good role models for our students. Maple Ridge Elementary
We were thrilled today to have the Smile Band play. They were outstanding and have such a passion for what they do. I know our 5-10 student body loved it. TE Scott elementary
