Rumba Calzada opens the show with an upbeat mambo or salsa song, followed by a brief history of Latin Jazz music. Another song is played, usually a cha cha cha, followed by an explanation of each instrument. We then teach the students a rhythmic pattern called the "clave" by getting them to clap along with the band playing a song. Another song is played and then a dance lesson on the cha cha cha is taught to the students. A Q&A and a final original song conclude the presentation.
