Jess began pursuing her passion for dance in Vancouver. In 1998, she designed and implemented a dance program for secondary school students and has been teaching in schools ever since. It is her goal to reach as many students as possible with empowering, affordable workshops, especially to those who are marginalized and/or have never been exposed to the art of dance. While living in Los Angeles, she trained extensively in two performing dance companies and completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on secondary physical education.
