This is a very active, new telling of the Grimm's tale of Rumpelstiltskin. It deals with the origins of Rumpelstiltskin, how the daughter becomes the victim of her father's bragging and then is trapped in a web of spinning straw into gold. It answers a number of questions often left out of the story. Other stories include "Drip... Drip... Drip...", a very modern tale about a rainy day, a six year old girl, and an invasion of Rain Creatures that are coming in through the bathroom taps, one drip at a time; and "The Wind and the Sun", an interactive telling of this Aesop's classic that depends on the audience to provide the changing weather patterns.
