Reviews

Best of the best! George Vanier Fine Arts School, Saskatoon, SK
The Birth of the CPR is exactly how to teach Canada's youth the history of our founding fathers' railway. It's engaging and entertaining...and, more importantly, fun and fact-filled. I wish I had been taught history that way when I was young! Jonathan Hanna, Corporate Historian, Canadian Pacific Railway
The CPR presentation was incredible! The versatility of talent and skill these presenters possessed was nothing short of amazing. The writing of the content presented was skillfully crafted: imaginative, educational and humorous. The acting and pacing of the entire theatrical presentation was nothing short of impeccable. Not a second was lost or wasted. The actors also displayed remarkable musical skill and versatility, singing and playing multiple instruments, while holding the attention of the audience with brilliant comical repartee and slapstick humour. They were extremely well-rehearsed, but still retained a mischievous spontaneity in their presentation style. The props and costumes were effective and showed some real ingenuity of design. All in all, an entertaining and educational show well worth seeing! Thank you! Anne Marie Dueck, music specialist, Oakenwald School, Winnipeg

The Klondike Rag is an uproarious and hilarious ragtime musical about the mishaps of down-and-out vaudevillians during the great gold rush. During their epic journey North through Skagway, climbing the Chilkoot Pass and floating down the Yukon River to Dawson City, they'll meet Soapy Smith, Sam Steele, the Ragtime Kid, Arizona Charlie Meadows and Klondike Kate. Even if they don't find gold, they'll discover how to get through this together!
