Schools
in Community supports the development of series of
presentations of arts programming for young audiences.
The program provides funding to encourage presenters
to organize live professional performances of Canadian
artists, while promoting local halls and theatres
as outstanding community venues for student audiences.
This matching funding program is
available to school districts, groups of schools and
community organizations for presentation expenses
such as artist fees, student transportation, and venue
rental.
