Donna Polos

Artist/Group Profile: Donna Polos is a watercolour painter, a chalk and pastel artist and a fibre artist. She has over 20 years experience as an educator, is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and an exhibiting and studio artist. Her fibre art has been exhibited in solo shows across the Lower Mainland. She worked with students at Chaffey-Burke to create a cooperative quilt that represented the history and bounty of the orchard located within the school grounds. The quilt was part of a National exhibition of student work in Moncton. She recently worked with the Chaffey Burke students to create a multicultural mural that was painted on plywood.

School Program/Presentation: Donna explores themes of heritage, ecology and social responsibility through one of the following mediums: drawing, watercolour painting, fabric painting, embroidery and/or quilting.
